2008 Annual BenefitThe Tri-State Transportation Campaign's 2008 New York Benefit will feature Congressman Jerrold Nadler as the guest speaker and will take place between 6pm and 9pm on November 6th at the Midtown Loft (267 Fifth Avenue, New York City). The Loft is within walking distance of several subway stations, PATH service, and New York Penn Station (for a map, click here).

Congressman Jerrold Nadler represents New York’s Eighth Congressional district, which includes parts of Manhattan and Brooklyn. He was first elected to the House of Representatives in 1992 after serving for 16 years in the New York State Assembly. Congressman Nadler currently chairs the House Judiciary Subcommittee on Constitution, Civil Rights and Civil Liberties, and is the highest-ranking Democrat from the Northeast on the House Transportation and Infrastructure Committee. A stalwart mass transit ally, the Congressman also supports rail projects, such as the Cross Harbor Rail Freight Tunnel, as one solution to increasing truck traffic.
