Goethals Bridge Working Group Begins Work
The kick-off meeting of the Goethals Bi-State Working Group (which the Campaign was instrumental in forming) was held at the Port Authority on September 20. The meeting was a good start, including discussions of TDM, pricing and land use -- the bi-state participants seemed happy to be meeting and talking to one another. Field trips to Staten Island and Brooklyn are tentatively scheduled for October 18, and Union County for October 21 or 25.
