Franklin Av Shuttle Subject of NYC Transit Budget Review
Although the MTA Board removed Franklin Avenue Shuttle reconstruction from the Third Capital plan, it passed a mandate to the Transit Authority to review its capital budget to see if any funding for shuttle reconstruction can be found. The Coalition to Save the Franklin Avenue Shuttle urges all supporters to attend two key meetings this month to keep the pressure on the MTA. The Transit Authority's Transit Committee is meeting December 16th at 9:30, and the full MTA Board will meet Dec. 20th at 1:30 pm; those who wish to speak (up to two minutes) must sign-up 30 minutes before the scheduled meeting time.
