Around the Region: Poughkeepsie Extends Bus Service Hours
Poughkeepsie's city transit system extended evening bus service from 6 p.m. to 9:30 on a trial basis during the holiday season. Transit officials are also working on an agreement for free transfer to Dutchess County's LOOP bus system. The catch: bus fare as of Jan. 1 jumped a dime to 75 cents. Poughkeepsie Journal
