Around the Region: Riders Suffer While Metro-North and Westchester DOT Feud

While Metro-North and the Westchester County Dept. of Transportation feud over which party will pay the $115,000 annual cost of extending one or more existing bus routes to the new Hudson Line Cortlandt station, bus riders must walk one-third of a mile from an existing bus stop to the station. Metro-North spent $10.9 million to build the new station, which includes a 750-car parking lot. Croton-Cortlandt Gazette
