Around the Region: Free Westchester Buses Around Christmas
Westchester County's Bee-Line Bus System ran free of charge Dec. 21st and 22nd. County Executive Andrew O'Rourke advertised the promotion as "a sensible way to ease traffic on the roads and to increase it in the stores during the mad holiday rush." O'Rourke also announced that Bee-Line fares would remain stable in 1997.
