NJ Planners Illegally Neglect Cycling, Walking
A recent report by the Federal Highway Administration on compliance with ISTEA bicycle and pedestrian planning and promotion mandates notes that the North Jersey Transportation Planning Authority is one of only a handful of metropolitan planning organizations nation-wide that has failed to develop a bicycle/pedestrian aspect of its regional long range plan.
