The controversial Route 92 proposal - a highway to link the Turnpike to Route 1 through wetlands in Middlesex County - brought over 800 people to last week's public hearing, the second-highest turnout for a Corps project hearing in recent years.
Meanwhile, public opposition to the project continues to swell. On Monday night, Hopewell Borough passed a resolution against the road, joining Hopewell Township, Montgomery, Hillsborough, Franklin, Rocky Hill, and South Brunswick in opposition to the road.
The Army Corps will take comments until 5pm on April 22nd. For info,
