New York Waterway was the only ferry operator to bid on a new ferry service between Middletown, NJ and Manhattan. A new terminal will be built in the Belford neighborhood with $8.5 million in federal transportation money. Ferries are scheduled to depart every 40 minutes during rush hour and will serve Wall Street, the World Financial Center and West 38th Street. New York Times
